Minnesota livestock farmers and specialty crop producers who incurred expenses due to last year’s drought can apply for up to $7,500 per farm in reimbursement through the Minnesota Department of Agriculture’s (MDA) 2021 Agricultural Drought Relief Program (ADRoP) when it opens in mid-June.

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) has confirmed the presence of emerald ash borer (EAB) in Kandiyohi County for the first time. There are now 35 counties in the state, including Kandiyohi, with EAB.

The first sign-up for cost-share for irrigation system upgrades and associated practices is now available to producers in 19 Minnesota counties.
