We are still receiving and actively reviewing applications but currently our offices are closed for walk-in appointments and our staff are working remotely. For fastest service, follow this four step process when submitting your application:
- Step One - Contact the plan review team via phone or email to discuss your project.
- Step Two - Compile all of your documents and make a copy to keep for your records.
- Step Three - Email the application and all of the associated documents to MDA.Plan.Review@state.mn.us
- Step Four - An invoice will be provided when your application is received. Pay the fee via the online portal using the PIN provided.
Once your application and documents are received you will be emailed the contact information for your assigned Plan Review Officer.
When emailing in plans please submit the application, layout, and equipment specifications sheets as a PDF documents. Photos of used equipment is acceptable but do not provide photos of paper documents.
Although emailing plans is the most efficient process, we can still accept paper submittals. When receiving paper submittals, a delay of two weeks is anticipated. If you wish to submit the application and documents in the mail, please notify us ahead of time.
