The Emerging Farmers Working Group (EFWG) is a collaborative, advisory group hosted by the Emerging Farmers Office (EFO) at the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. The group centers the voices and experiences of emerging farmers across Minnesota. Now in its sixth year, the group brings together farmers, community leaders, and partners to discuss barriers, opportunities, and solutions for the next generation of farmers.
Meetings are virtual and open to the public, with a focus on sharing lived experiences, identifying gaps in programs and policies, and shaping recommendations that support a more inclusive agricultural landscape.
