Session 2 of this four-part series is “Financial Essentials, Part 1: Creating a Strong Financial Foundation for Producer Co-ops.”
This session introduces the essential financial, governance, and compliance systems that small producer co-ops need to operate responsibly and reduce risk. Participants will learn how bylaws shape financial reporting, explore basic internal controls and officer responsibilities, and consider when to move from spreadsheets to accounting software. The session is designed to give boards and leaders practical tools and guidance to meet fiduciary duties and prepare for future growth.
Session 2 Presenter: Audrey Griffin, CPA, Synergy Accounting and Business Solutions, LLC
