The MDA will be hosting a booth at the Irrigators Association of Minnesota Convention to highlight the Minnesota Ag Weather Network and the Chemigation Permit Program. Stop by the booth to see a weather station model and learn how to access public weather data and the chemigation permit application.

MN AG EXPO is a jointly hosted event between the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association and the Minnesota Corn Growers Association.

Stop by and visit MDA staff on the Trade Show floor. The following programs will each have a booth at the event:

• Minnesota Ag Weather Network - swing by to see a weather station model, learn how to access the data, and learn of a proposed weather station expansion

The Thirteen Moons Fond du Lac Tribal College Extension Program is proud to host the 2023 Gichi Manidoo Giizis Traditional Pow Wow on January 13th and 14th, 2023 at the Black Bear Casino and Hotel-Otter Creek Event Center.

This pow wow celebrates taking care of the land and community.

The mission of the 2023 Gichi Manidoo Giizis Traditional Pow Wow is to bring together community members and federal, tribal, and state organizations to learn from one another about how we take care of the land and community. Representatives from organizations will be available to answer questions and provide information on sustainable agriculture, natural resources programs for land owners, and education and career opportunities through college and university programs. In addition, those representatives will learn from community member’s the traditions of the Anishinaabe culture, language and best practices of taking care of the land and community

The 40th Annual Red River Basin Land and Water International Summit Conference will be held at The Fort Garry Hotel in Winnepeg, Manitoba.

This year's conference, "Looking Back, Working Forward Another 40 Years" will look at how residents, organizations and governments work to achieve basin-wide commitment to comprehensive integrated watershed stewardship & management of the Red River Basin.

Join the comprehensive education program as part of the 2023 Minnesota Fruit & Vegetable Expo. The event will include a keynote and growers panel on agritourism, and a Welcome Reception, and two days of education and networking opportunities along with a trade show.
