This training is for farmers who grow fresh fruits and vegetables, sell them at farmers markets, and want to become an Authorized Vendor for the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) and Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) (together known as S/FMNP).

This training has been postponed and will be updated once it has been rescheduled. 

This location will not use technology, in order to accommodate Plain/Amish growers, but is open to all. Please contact the Produce Safety Program for paper registration forms, or for more information: 651-895-0315

This one-day training course is for produce growers. If your farm is not excluded or exempt from the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule, at least one supervisor or responsible party from your farm must complete a training that uses FDA-recognized curriculum or equivalent. This course meets those requirements. All produce growers interested in learning about produce safety, Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), and the FSMA Produce Safety Rule are welcome to attend.
