Today, Americans eat from one of the safest food supplies in the world.
The Minnesota Agricultural Water Quality Certification Program (MAWQCP) Farm Business Management Scholarship provides scholarships to water quality certified producers to learn business management strategies that will lead to profitable and competitive farming operations.
This scholarship application is for the 2025-2026 academic year. Please complete the application in collaboration with your Farm Business Management instructor. If you are new to the Farm Business Management Program please visit the program website to contact an instructor. The MAWQCP scholarship will award $165 per credit for a student’s first and second semester in the program and will award $110 per credit for subsequent semesters.
Applications for the MAWQCP Farm Business Management Scholarship are approved and accepted on a rolling basis. The deadlines for applications are:
- Fall semester applications are due October 1
- Spring semester applications are due March 1
- Summer semester applications are due June 1
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must be certified in the Minnesota Agricultural Water Quality Certification Program. If awarded, you must also complete a farm analysis.
