Regional and county household hazardous waste (HHW) facilities, as well as county environmental officials, implement the Waste Pesticide Collection Program in the state of Minnesota. HHW facilities are not allowed to accept pesticide rinsate waste on behalf of the MDA's Waste Pesticide Collection Program.
Pesticide rinsate is a dilute water mixture created when a pesticide user cleans their pesticide application or storage equipment, rinses containers, or cleans up a pesticide spill. The following are types of wastes that are NOT accepted for disposal on behalf of the MDA's Waste Pesticide Collection Program.

- Fertilizers
- Crop oil
- Spreader/stickers
- Foam markers
- Seed dye and inoculants
- Other products not covered in MDA's disposal program
