Dairy field representatives play a critical role in ensuring Minnesota dairy farms are producing high quality, safe milk. Field reps perform important functions on behalf of their plant/cooperative and the MDA, including farm pre-inspections, official sample collection, inspection requests, and many more. It is very important for field reps to be familiar with the regulatory requirements and processes used by the MDA from the farm to the plant. Any person working in an official capacity as a field rep must be permitted by the MDA.

Resources, including how-to documents and training information, are available for field reps. To get started, contact Sarah Current. Permitted field reps can find additional information on the Dairy Field Rep Site.
