The AGRI Biofuel Blending Infrastructure Grant was a one-time program in 2019 that assisted Minnesota-based biofuel producers, petroleum fuel blenders or distributors, or businesses where blending and supplying fuel is an integral part of their operation to purchase and install biofuel blending equipment. The primary goals of the program were to promote economic growth and environmentally-friendly practices in Minnesota’s biofuel industries.
The grant program reimbursed the cost of equipment and installation of that equipment for projects that developed or enhanced markets that improved biofuel blending outcomes such as increased sales and greater access to fuels.
A total of $381,300.40 was awarded to three grantees with an average grant award of $127,066.80. The maximum award was $185,465.
