Minnesota Statutes section 270C.72 (2004) requires the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) to collect social security numbers and Minnesota Business Identification Numbers (MBIN) when it issues licenses/permits/certifications that are required to operate a business or conduct a trade, profession or occupation in Minnesota.

- Commercial Animal Waste Technician (CAWT)
- Commercial Pesticide Applicator (CPA)
- Noncommercial Pesticide Applicator (NCPA)
- Structural Pest Control Applicator (SPCA)
Please note: A Social Security Number is not public data, therefore the MDA does not disclose this information.
