Organic Hive Hosts for Commercial Beekeepers

The following certified organic farms are willing to be contacted by commercial beekeepers who might want to place hives on their farms. Organic farms may offer a variety of nectar and pollen sources that appeal to honeybees and less risk of pesticide exposure. Minnesota beekeepers Chuck and Marjean Hendrycks were a huge help in developing the list, which is organized by county and provides the farmer's name, contact information, and information about what's grown. Please contact the farmers directly and make all arrangements with them. If you find the list helpful, or have suggestions to improve it, please send them to meg.moynihan@state.mn.us
