Minnesota’s agricultural exports brought in $6.3 billion in 2015. Agricultural exports account for more than one-third of the state’s total exports.
Our top export commodities include soybeans, corn, pork, and feed – but we’re also home to many leading processed food companies, with products ranging from snack foods to frozen entries to bakery products.
Minnesota’s primary export markets are China, Mexico, Japan, Canada, South Korea, and Taiwan. Emerging markets, such as, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Colombia, are beginning to gain importance for the state’s food and agricultural exporters.
