Water Quality BMPs for Agricultural Herbicides

BMP Sheets: The BMPs are provided in six sheets; an overall sheet which provides BMP options for all agricultural herbicides and five individual sheets which provide BMP options for the herbicides acetochlor, alachlor, atrazine, metolachlor and metribuzin. The BMP sheets were written in 2004 and updated in 2008. Subsequently, the BMPs for all agricultural herbicides and acetochlor were revised in 2010.

• Required Atrazine Setbacks Poster
  Illustrates mandatory atrazine application setbacks included on the label of any herbicide product containing atrazine. Unlike BMPs, which are voluntary practices, the application setback on this poster are label requirements.
