The Japanese beetle is no longer regulated by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. The decision to stop our regulatory efforts is based on an analysis of how widespread the infestation. Once invasive or exotic are determined to be established beyond our ability to suppress or manage them, we no longer have jurisdiction over them.
