The Minnesota Department of Agriculture recommends cleaning pesticide containers immediately after emptying them. Timely rinsing will be easier and more effective in removing all pesticide residue from the container.

Treat an unrinsed container as you would a full one - wear protective clothes and goggles. |

Completely pour contents into tank and let it ‘drip’ for an additional 30 seconds. |

Pour clean water into container and recap. |

Shake container for 30 seconds. |

Pour rinsate into tank and let drip for 30 seconds. |

Step 6 |

Repeat Steps 3, 4 & 5 two more times to complete triple rinse. |
