Feedlot Permitting in Minnesota: A Checklist for Producers is intended to help livestock producers understand and successfully navigate the permitting process for projects to modernize, expand, or build a new feedlot. It contains a checklist of first steps entitled “Getting Started;” an overview of federal, state, and local regulations, and the feedlot permitting process; and a list of contacts for more information. It also includes a separate worksheet for producers to use in meetings with state and local officials.
The publication is designed to be printed double-sided (back-to-back).
