The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) conducts an annual pesticide and fertilizer use survey of Minnesota farmers. The 2013 survey is directed to corn growers in the state and is conducted for MDA by the National Agriculture Statistics Service (NASS) out of their regional offices in Missouri.
This survey is completely voluntary and no questions seeking personal information are asked. MDA has conducted this survey for the past ten years and the data gathered helps the agency track the use of agricultural chemicals on Minnesota farms.
