The University of Minnesota-MES provides research-based agricultural information. Through its network of county offices and state resources, MES links farmers with the University of Minnesota. County extension offices offer educational programs, training, and educational materials relating to manure management. These programs include instruction for calibrating manure spreaders, taking manure samples, and developing manure management plans.
